Many sales salary increases were conservative over the past year however more and more employers are offering other incentives such as private healthcare, gym memberships along with flexible working hours.
Employers are also actively promoting a better work / life balance as an attraction and retention strategy. They are allowing their sales staff to spend more time working from home once they have gained the trust of their employer.
Remember though, one of the quickest ways to lose a top sales performer is to move the goal posts far beyond their reach.
